A major transfer can completely change how a basketball club plays and how supporters view its chances. How should clubs evaluate whether bringing in a new player is worth changing the existing system? Can one important signing create problems despite adding individual talent?

I think talent alone shouldn’t justify changing a successful system. A club should look at whether the player’s style, role, and personality fit the existing group. One big signing can create problems if others lose their roles, touches, or confidence, especially when the new player needs the whole offense built around them.
