Why Do Some Basketball Players Thrive Under Pressure?

Certain players seem to become more dangerous during playoff games, finals, and other high-pressure situations. What allows some players to perform confidently when the stakes are highest? Is it experience, personality, preparation, confidence, or simply being comfortable taking responsibility?

I think preparation and confidence probably play a huge role when the pressure is highest. Experienced players may also be better at staying calm when everything feels intense. Some seem to enjoy having responsibility rather than fearing it.
