A team's entire strategy can change when it has a dominant scorer, playmaker, or defensive player. How should coaches and front offices build a roster around their biggest star? Should the supporting players complement the star's strengths or provide more balanced abilities?

I think supporting players should mainly complement the star’s strengths while still bringing different abilities to the team. A dominant scorer needs players who can defend, space the floor, and move the ball, while a great playmaker may need reliable shooters and finishers. Too much dependence on one skill can make a team predictable.
