Countries such as Croatia, Belgium, Portugal, and the Netherlands have produced many internationally recognized players despite having smaller populations than Europe's biggest nations. What systems, academies, coaching methods, or football cultures help smaller countries consistently develop high-level talent?

I think smaller countries can produce great players when football is deeply connected to everyday life. Strong youth academies, good coaching, local clubs, and regular competition give young players a solid foundation. Sending talented players abroad can help too, exposing them to stronger leagues, different coaching styles, and higher levels of competition.

I think playing football is in their bones. No region can produce European level soccer players, except a few from South America. African players and Asian players might not reach the level of European football in 100 years
