WWE wrestlers now have direct access to fans through platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube. How has this affected WWE characters and storylines? Does social media help build stronger connections with fans, or does it make wrestlers less mysterious outside the ring?

I think social media has made it easier for WWE wrestlers to connect with fans and build their characters outside the ring. The downside is that wrestlers can feel less mysterious when fans constantly see their real personalities. It can make storylines more engaging, but sometimes the line between character and real life gets blurred.

social media has made WWE wrestlers much more connected to fans than before. Wrestlers can promote matches, share their personalities, respond to fans, and continue storylines outside weekly shows. It also gives them more control over how they present themselves. At the same time, social media can spoil surprises or create unnecessary drama. I like that fans can see more of a wrestler’s personality beyond what happens inside the ring.
