Countries such as Japan, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and South Korea have developed strong baseball cultures. What factors help these countries consistently produce talented players? Is it youth development, coaching, local competition, facilities, or simply how deeply baseball is connected to the culture?

I think culture and youth development are probably the biggest factors. When kids grow up watching and playing baseball, they have more chances to develop their skills from an early age. Good coaching, strong local competition, and proper facilities then help talented players take that ability to a higher level.
