Why Are Older Video Games Becoming Popular With Younger Players?

Younger players are increasingly discovering games released before they were born through emulation, remasters, YouTube, and online communities. What attracts them to older games despite outdated graphics and interfaces? Is nostalgia still possible for people who never experienced the original release?

People want to try something that have never done it. When old games are remastered or remade, new generation of players are suddenly lured into it.

Younger players are discovering old games through emulation and YouTube. I am not surprised because their gameplay actually stands the test of time.
