Some teams seem dramatically stronger when playing in front of their home supporters. What makes certain arenas especially difficult for visiting teams? Is the difference mainly crowd noise, travel, familiarity with the court, officiating pressure, or the confidence created by playing at home?

I think crowd noise is probably the biggest factor, especially during close games when communication becomes harder. Travel and unfamiliar surroundings can add pressure too. A strong home crowd can give players extra confidence, while visiting teams may struggle to settle into their normal rhythm in a hostile arena.
