How has the growing emphasis on three-point shooting changed offensive systems, player development, and defensive strategies? Has it made basketball more exciting, or has it taken something away from other parts of the game?

I think the three-point revolution has made offenses more creative, with players spacing the floor and defenses having to cover much more ground. It has also changed player development, with shooting becoming important at nearly every position. The game feels more exciting, although post play and mid-range scoring can sometimes get overlooked.
