Why Do Some Players Perform Better for Their Countries Than Their Clubs?
There are players who look ordinary at club level but become outstanding when representing their national teams. Others have the opposite experience. What explains these differences, and how much can tactics, teammates, motivation, and the style of international football influence individual performances?

I think tactics and teammates can make a huge difference. A player might fit perfectly into their national team’s style or have more freedom to play their natural game. Motivation matters too, especially when representing your country. International football is different from club football, so some players simply suit that environment better.

I feel some players perform better for their national teams because they may feel more comfortable with familiar teammates, understand the team's style better, or have extra motivation when representing their country.

Playing for clubs is basically about money. However, when you play for country, you play for pride. That's why some players perform better when they play for their country

The main difference can be the tactical system and the teammates around the player. A footballer may have a role that suits their strengths with one team but not another. Motivation, playing style, confidence, and different levels of competition can also change how effective they look.

It's always the best players in different clubs who are called up to play for the National team. This means that the National teams have far more better players than what a club would and when you play beside better players, they make you play more better.

The reasons for this is simple, for instance when you are playing for your country, some players have passion for their country and derived joy playing with their full potential, because sometime their family and friends maybe physically present to see their performance.
