Why Is Baseball So Popular in the Caribbean?
The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and other Caribbean regions have produced generations of outstanding baseball players. What helped baseball become so deeply established there, and how have local academies, communities, professional leagues, and international opportunities shaped the development of young players?

Re: Why Is Baseball So Popular in the Caribbean?
I think baseball became so deeply established through a combination of history, local culture, and opportunity. Kids often grow up playing in their communities, while academies provide more serious training. Professional leagues give them a pathway to compete, and international opportunities, especially in the US, give talented players a chance to build careers.
